For most of his career Ken Liebman was an intellectual property litigator in Minneapolis at the firm now known as Faegre Drinker. While at Faegre he frequently represented the University and also served as an adjunct professor at the law school. Ken was previously a partner at Irell & Manella in Los Angeles. Early in his career he took a year off from the practice of law to serve as President of Californians Against Street Crime and Deputy Director of a statewide handgun initiative known as Proposition 15. Ken graduated from Columbia University in New York with a B.A. in Philosophy, summa cum laude, in 1976 and from the Yale Law School with a J.D. in 1979. He is currently retired.
