Law-Students Printer Installation for Windows 11

Important Requirement: On campus, your Windows laptop needs to connect to the eduroam wifi network. Off campus, setting up a VPN connection is needed.

  1. Download the installation program.
  2. Locate the downloaded file with the name pc-print-deploy-client[law-printers.ad.umn.edu].msi.

  3. Open the file.

    The welcome screen for installing the PaperCut Print Deploy Client Setup with Next option to continue or Cancel to exit Setup Wizard.

  4. Click "Next" to start the installation.

  5. A "User Account Control" window pops up, click "Yes"

  6. The installation process continues.

  7. Click "Finish" when the installation completes.
  8. An adding printer window pops up. In the case no pop-up window appears, follow refresh your printers.

  9. Click "Sign in to Install"

  10. Enter your U of M Internet ID and password, click "Sign in and Install"

  11. The printer "Law-Students" was installed and ready to use.
