Mr. Achard is an exchange student from the University of Lyon in France. He also studied at Boston University Law School as an exchange student. He worked as a trainee lawyer at J. Sagar & Associates in Gurgaon, India and at Ashurst L.L.P. in Paris, France.

Mr. Mohammed Abd El Hamid Ahmed
Qatar/Egypt
Mr. Ahmed graduated from the University of Cairo, receiving an English and Arabic law degree. Since then, he has worked as an attorney in both Egypt and Qatar. In Qatar, he served as corporate in-house counsel for the Gulf United Company. Mr. Ahmed has a special interest in corporate law.

Ms. Linda Uviarere Akre
Nigeria
Ms. Akre received her law degree from the Nigerian Law School. Since then, she has worked with the University of Maiduguri, Borno State (NYSC) and served as a senior executive assistant in Zenith Bank PLC, Nigeria. Ms. Akre has a special interest in business law.

Mr. Mert Aktan
Turkey
Mr. Aktan earned his law degree from Istanbul University. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Public Law from Galatasaray University. He also worked as a senior lawyer at Kural Law Firm, focusing on litigation. He also served as the sole attorney and consultant for Koc University. Mr. Aktan plans to specialize in business law and policy.

Mr. Nail Almabayev
Kazakhstan
Mr. Almabayev received his law degree from the Kazakh State University of Law and has worked in government ever since. He served as head of the Ministry in Finance's Tax Committee and currently serves the President of Kazakhstan as the head of the Private and International Law Division. After completing his LL.M., he plans to continue to work as a public servant.

Ms. Sukma Dwi Andrina
Indonesia
Ms. Andrina earned her law degree from the University of Indonesia. After receiving her degree, she worked at a boutique law firm specializing in oil and gas law. She currently works as a corporate lawyer at Mochtar Karuwin Komar Attorneys at Law. Ms. Andrina has a special interest in business and energy law.

Ms. Oraphan Chayanuwat
Thailand
Ms. Chayanuwat earned her LL.B. at Assumption University in Thailand. She is currently earning a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law at New York University. In addition, she worked at the Trigroup Rajchada Limited Company in Thailand as a business lawyer. Ms. Chayanuwat has a strong interest in intellectual property law.

Ms. Huanru Chen
China
Ms. Chen is earning her law degree at Zhejia Gongshang University. While attending law school, she participated in the University's Legal Clinic, Legal Aid project, and Moot Court. Ms. Chen hopes to focus on international business law.

Mr. Ruochen Chen
China
Mr. Chen received his law degree from Shanghai University of Political Science and Law where he studied international and business law. He is currently enrolled in the Dispute Resolution program at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. Mr. Chen would like to focus on contract and corporate law.

Ms. Flavia de Souza Lobo Pacheco
Brazil
Ms. De Souza Lobo Pacheco earned her LL.B. from Rio de Janeiro State University in 2009. After law school, she was an associate attorney at Araujo e Policastro Advogados and worked on legal operations involving construction of transmission lines and thermo plants in Brazil, including elaboration of agreements and the financial structure of investments related to infrastructure and logistics projects, issues related to shares and debentures, negotiation of shareholders agreements, and incorporation of companies. She hopes to focus on business law.

Ms. (Judy) Lijuan Feng
China
Ms. Feng earned her LL.B. from Shan Xi University of Finance and Economics and went on to get her LL.M. from Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade. She taught international business law at HuaXia Institute of East China Normal University. She worked as a junior associate at the Shanghai offices of Linklaters LLP and currently is a legal consultant at Faegre & Benson LLP.

Ms. Yubing Gao
China
Ms. Gao earned her LL.B. at China University of Political Science and Law and also studied as an exchange student at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand majoring in Law & Politic. While in law school, she was a member of Legal Clinic of Juvenile Delinquency, and she interned at the Puyang Intermediate People's Court and worked as a lawyer's assistant in Zhuocheng Law Firm. She has a special interest in international trade and business law.

Mr. Carlos Gomez
Colombia
Mr. Gomez received his law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. He later earned a Master's degree in International Contract Law from the Universidad de los Andes. Mr. Gomez has taught classes as a lecturer at the Universidad Javeriana, Universidad del Rosario, and the Universidad de la Sabana. He has worked as a corporate attorney in Columbia for many years, most currently as a partner at Gomez, Latorre & Associates.

Ms. Xu Han
China
Ms. Han earned her LL.B. from Beijing Jiaotong University. She worked as a law clerk in the Beijing Chongwen District People's Court and currently works as a legal assistant at Beijing Shente Law Firm, assisting with various legal issues.

Mr. Ming-Yuan Ho
Taiwan
Mr. Ho received his LL.B. from National Chung Cheng University. He has a strong background in consumer protection, working at the Consumer Protection Office of Taipei City Government. At present, he works at Seven Pyramid Enterprise Co., Ltd. providing legal and customer service. Mr. Ho has a special interest in anti-trust law.

Mr. Boonchana Israngkool Na Ayudthaya
Thailand
Mr. Israngkool Na Ayudthaya earned his LL.B. from Ramkhamhaeng University in Bangkok. He went on to get his LL.M. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Ohio. He is interested in intellectual property law.

Mr. Serge Itunime Kelambila
Democratic Republic of Congo
Mr. Itunime Kelambila graduated from the University of Abomey Calavi School of Law. As a student he was the Vice President of the Congolese Students' Community in Benin. He worked as a legal trainee at Beep Consulting in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He has a special interest in business law.

Mr. Amr Jaghoub
Jordan/Qatar
Mr. Jaghoub earned his LL.B. from the University of Nottingham. He has interned in the International Cooperation Bureau for Qatar. He also interned at Simmons & Simmons Middle East L.L.P. in Qatar and then later at Clifford Chance L.L.P. in Dubai. Mr. Jaghoub hopes to focus on corporate and financial law.

Mr. Michael Jahn
Germany
Mr. Jahn studied law at Humboldt-University of Berlin School of Law where he specialized in International Criminal Law. He worked as a research assistant for a professor who focused on criminal law and law history. He also worked as a research assistant at KCW GmbH, Berlin, and Legal Division. He participated in a number of traineeships including one with the Department of Public Prosecution.

Ms. Taranisorn Kachin
Thailand
Ms. Kachin earned her LL.B. and her LL.M. from Thammasat University. Ms. Kachin worked as a lawyer at Kitt & Murray International Counselor in Law and later at Kachin International Law Office. Currently, she serves as a judge at Pattani Provincial Court Juvenile and Family Division, adjudicating civil, criminal, and family law cases.

Ms. Jihyun Kang
Korea
Ms. Kang received her LL.B. from the Korea University School of Law. As a student she was part of the Korea University's Eastern History Study Club. She also spent a semester as an exchange student at Seoul National University School of Law.

Mr. HyongKun Kim
Korea
Mr. Kim graduated from Yonsei University and the Judicial Research and Training Institute in Korea. He served as a government attorney in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, where he took an active role in the Korea-US FTA negotiations and worked as an associate attorney focusing on international litigation cases for P&I clubs in England at a law firm in Korea. Based upon these experiences, he has dealt with numerous cross-border M&A transactions and prepared antitrust guidelines for many years.

Mr. Joseph Kim
Canada/Korea
Mr. Kim earned his LL.B. from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) at the University of London. He went on to earn a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law of England and Wales. Mr. Kim has a strong interest in finding corporate solutions to socio-economic and cultural problems.

Mr. Ilya Kiryan
Russia
Mr. Kiryan earned his law degree from the Russian Foreign Trade Academy of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia. He has worked as a manager of foreign economic activity for NC Pharm LLC, and VIGOR LLC. He most recently worked as the head of the Moscow Enterprise Europe Network Office. He is also a member of Amnesty International and the World Wildlife Foundation.

Ms. Eun Hye Lee
Korea
Ms. Lee began her legal career by working as a patent attorney for Central International Law Firm in Seoul. She also worked for Wonjon Patent and Law Firm where she prosecuted foreign patent applications. She has acquired an expertise in electronics, electrical engineering, material engineering and computer science legal issues.

Ms. Xiaowei Li
China
Ms. Li received her law degree from the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing. As a law student she participated in the University Moot Court Competition. Ms. Li interned as a law clerk at Dongjingxinyu Law firm, the Supreme Court of China, and Dacheng Law Offices.

Ms. Yu-Chi Lin
Taiwan
Ms. Lin graduated from Chinese Culture University in Taipei in 2009, where she specialized in financial and economic law. She then worked as a legal specalist in Foreign Affairs for Fachen International Law, and at P&T office. She also manages her own online store.

Mr. Qianfu Liu
China
Mr. Liu received his law degree from Beijing Normal University (BNU). As a student he participated in an exchange with California State University, San Bernardino. He interned in the Second Court of Investigation of the Supreme People's Court. He was also the Vice President of BNU's Student Council.

Ms. Ruini Liu
China
Ms. Liu studied English at Beijing Forestry University and law at Beijing Technology & Business University. She specalizes in intellectual property law and has worked as an intellectual property lawyer for BTA Intellectual Property Agency Co., Ltd. and Mingyong Trademark & Patent Law Office. Most recently she served as in-house counsel for Beijing Peking University WBL Biotech Co., Ltd.

Ms. Chonlathorn Meewongukote
Thailand
Ms. Meewongukote received her law degree from Thammasat University. She worked for the Thammasat Law Center. Most recently, she worked as a legal officer for the Property Disposal Division of the Legal Execution Department.

Mr. Young Rong Moon
Korea
Mr. Moon received his law degree from Yonsei University. His thesis was a comparative study of fundamental non-performance. He most recently worked as a Legal Affairs Group Section Manager for POSCO E&C in which he worked on projects in a number of countries including Azerbaijan and Qatar.

Mr. Amos Onokevbagbe
Nigeria
Mr. Onokevbagbe received his law degree from the Nigerian Law School in Abuja. Mr. Onokevbagbe practiced law in Nigeria before moving to the U.K., where he studied at the London School of Law. He worked at Connect Personnel Ltd. in London and he most recently worked at Murray Solicitors.

Ms. Yan Qin
China
Ms. Qin studied law at Guangzi University. She also worked as a legal consultant in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Legal Aid Center. Ms. Qin has also worked as a foreign teacher's assistant, a volunteer interpreter, and worked in the United States through the "Summer, Working and Travel" program.

Ms. Luz Salazar
Colombia
Ms. Salazar received her law degree from the University Libre de Colombia. She studied Resolution of Conflicts at the U. San Buenaventura de Cali. Later, she attended studies on ICC with the Comisión Andina de Juristas at the U. Externado de Colombia and on human rights at the American University in Washington D.C. An attorney in Colombia for many years, she recently worked for Inter-American Parliamentary Group and Rif Welcome Center in New York. She has represented the Colegiatura de Abogados de Cali in the United Nations NGO Section.

Mr. Michael Schramm
Germany
Mr. Schramm studied intellectual property law at Humboldt University of Berlin. He also studied law at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, as part of an academic exchange and at Johannes-Gutenberg University of Mainz and economics at the University of Mannheim. He participated in a traineeship at the law firm Heymann und Partner and at the Fulda regional court.

Mr. Pavel Shteling
Russia
Mr. Shteling studied international law at the State Russian Herzen Pedagogical University. He interned at Schamong Cmbh & Co. KG in Germany as a management assistant. He also interned and later worked for Intersteel, dealing with contracts.

Ms. Nahathai Somboonitaya
Thailand
Ms. Somboonitaya studied law at Assumption University. As a student she participated in an Asia Law Student Association Table Discussion on "Fighting Human Trafficking in Asia." She speaks English and French. Ms. Somboonitaya also worked as a clerk for Baker & McKenzie Ltd., and she is interested in business law.

Ms. Mengjiao Sun
China
Ms. Sun studied law at China University of Political Science and Law. She has interned for Nanxiang Town People's Tribunal, the Business Law department of Hongfan Guangzhu Law firm in Beijing and the legal clinic at China University of Political Science and Law. Ms. Sun has done research on developing economic stability while also protecting the natural forest in the Dabie Mountain area of Sichuan Province.

Ms. Chih-Ying Tang
Taiwan
Ms. Tang worked as an editorial assistant at GET Educational Institute and as a legal specialist for Wenping & Company. She studied law at Soochow University and volunteered at the Taipei District Court. She also worked as a staff member for the Senior Law Camp where she planned activities and courses and organized visits to legal firms and courts.

Mr. Willem Thijssen

Mr. Thijssen received his LL.B. in Law and Management and his LL.M. in International Business Law from Tilburg University. He interned at BarentsKrans Law Firm in the Hague. He has also worked as a student assistant in Tilburg University's Education and International Office and as a student member of Tilburg University's Examination Appeals Board. Mr. Thijssen focuses on corporate and financial Law.

Ms. Vanichakij received her law degree from Assumption University of Thailand and an International LL.M. degree from Southern Methodist University. She has been an active member of the Asian Law Student Association and a staff member for the first and second Asian Law Student Association Conference at Assumption University of Thailand in 2005.

Mr. Luis Rodrigo Velazquez Montes

Mr. Velazquez Montes is an associate attorney at Barrera, Siqueiros y Torres Landa, S.C. He currently works on corporate law, finance law and legal issues involving insurance, bonds and aviation. He received his law degree from the Universidad Panamericana and also has post-graduate degrees in administrative law and in insurance and bonds law.
