Mr. Albarrak earned a bachelor's in Sharia (Islamic) Law and a master's degree in Legal Policy from the Imam Mohamed Ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. His master's thesis compared the laws governing the hotel and furnished rental industries in Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon. Since 2007 has worked as a clerk and Manager of the Judge's Office at the Summary Court of the Ministry of Justice in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Alfohid received his bachelor's degree in law from the Iman Mohamed Ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 2001. After graduation, Mr. Alfohid trained with the Saudi Ministry of Justice at the Riyadh General and Criminal Court and worked as a lawyer in Saudi Arabia, where he counseled numerous small businesses and specialized in commercial and financial law, Islamic finance, and banking. In 2008 and 2009 Mr. Alfohid studied English at Leeds English School and Academic English and Research Methods at Leeds University in the UK.

Ms. Alhindi received her bachelor's degree in Islamic Law from Umm Al-Qura University in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. During her studies she volunteered as a student leader, teacher and advisor. Ms. Alhindi intends to specialize in business law.

Mr. Alosaimi earned his bachelor's degree in law from the Imam Muhammad Bin Saud Islamic University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He has also studied English at the University of Minnesota. Mr. Alosaimi has worked as a research assistant at the Administrative Court in Riyadh and as the Assistant Manager of a counseling office in Riyadh.

Mr. Alsawi has a bachelor's degree in law from Qassim University in Saudi Arabia. During his degree he interned at the General Court in Qassim. He currently works as a lecturer at Qassim University College of Law. Mr. Alsawi has also studied English at UCLA. After finishing his studies he intends to work as a law professor and legal consultant.

Mr. Altamimi earned his law degree from the College of Sharia Islamic Law in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. After graduation, he worked as a trainee lawyer for the law firm of Alghimlas Attorneys & Legal Advisors, where he represented clients in a wide range of litigation matters. Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Altamimi gained experience as a business owner, managing his own import-export business. Mr Altamimi has also studied English at Ohio State University in Columbus, OH.

Mr. Alwehaibi received his law degree from Qassim University in Buraidahi, Saudi Arabia. During his studies he interned at the Buraidah General Court in Qassim. After graduation he worked for the Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation and as a Lecturer at Qassim University. He has also worked as a middle school teacher. Most recently Mr. Alwehaibi studied English at UCLA.

Mr. Alyawer studied law at King AbdulAziz University and worked as a legal consultant at an international law firm. He is dedicated to volunteer work and helped create the Young Lawyers Volunteer Group, which provides legal services to those who could not otherwise afford it. As a student he has been elected to be the president of the first Lawyers-Students forum in Saudi Arabia and would like to focus on business law.
South Korea
Mr. Bae holds bachelor's degrees in Law and Economics from Yonsei University in Seoul and a graduate certificate in Law from Korea University in Seoul. Most recently he studied law at the KOABELS American Law Research Institute in Seoul. He has also studied English at the Universal English Center in New York City. In addition, Mr. Bae has worked as an Official Interpreter for the 2002 FIFA Soccer World Cup Host Broadcasting Station. He intends to focus on intellectual property law.
The Netherlands
Mr. Bosma is an exchange student from Tilburg University in the Netherlands. He received a master's degree in tax law from Tilburg University. Mr. Bosma participated in the international EUCOTAX Wintercourse project and wrote his master thesis in this context. Mr. Bosma also participated in an international exchange program with Kyushu University in Japan, where he studied business law. He has worked as student employee at the international tax division of KPMG Meijburg Co.

Ms. Bu earned her bachelor's degree in law from the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. After graduation she worked as a legal assistant in the Deep Blue Law Firm in Anhui, China, where she gained experience drafting and reviewing contracts and participated in advising companies on IPOs. Ms. Bu has also worked as an intern for Shuion Land Co. Ltd in Hong Kong where she provided consulting services in Tax Law and Governmental Policies for a range of Hi-tech companies. Most recently she worked in the Legal Department of Ping An Insurance Co. Ltd. in Shanghai.
USA
Mr. Capelle received his B.A. in English from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in 1998. In 2009 he earned his LL.B. from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM) and has also studied legal translation and Mexican Labor Law. Most recently he worked as a litigator specializing in Labor and Corporate Law in Mexico and counseled numerous national and multinational companies.
Taiwan
Ms. Chan earned an LL.M. in European and International Business Law from the University of Leiden in the Netherlands. Her thesis focused on the government’s roles within the Taiwanese regulatory scheme. Ms. Chen also holds an LL.B. in Economic and Financial Law from the National Chengchi University in Taipei, Taiwan, where she participated in the 2008 Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition. She is a Certified Securities Specialist and most recently worked at the European Economic and Trade Office in Taipei, advising Taiwanese companies on EU legislation and regulations.

Mr. Chang earned his bachelor's degree in law from National Taiwan University in Taipei. Most recently, he worked as an attorney for J-Li Law Firm and gained experience in a wide variety of cases. Mr. Chang has also worked for the Accounting Office of the Supreme Administrative Court in Taipei. In addition, Mr. Chang volunteered for the Wild at Heart Legal Defense Association, where he counseled low income clients and investigated laws governing the use of nuclear energy.

Mr. Chen received his law degree from the National Chengchi University in Taipei, Taiwan. He hopes to focus on international trade law and international dispute resolution. During his undergraduate degree Mr. Chen actively participated in student government, held leadership positions in a number of different student organizations, and received an award for his volunteer work with underprivileged elementary school students.

After graduation Mr. Chen worked as a Platoon Leader and Vice Squadron Leader in the Chinese Armed Police Force in Baotou, Inner Mongolia. Mr. da Silva received his bachelor's degree in law from Fluminense University Center in Campos dos Goytacazes, Brazil. He also completed certificates in Civil Constitutional Law from Rio de Janeiro State University in and Public Administration from the Getulio Vargas Foundation in Rio de Janeiro. He has worked as a Sector-Inspector at the Court of Auditors of the State of Rio de Janeiro and as a trainee at the office of the Public Attorney of the State of Rio de Janeiro, where he provided assistance to low income individuals. Mr. da Silva served for eight years in the Brazilian army as an Artillery Sergeant.

Mr. Faithangtham earned his bachelor's degree in law from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Tennessee, and has studied English and Japanese at the Triamudom Suksa School in Bangkok. Mr. Faithangtham has worked as an Assistant Manager and Contract Coordinator for the Kase Banglee Agricultural Center, where he gained experience in both business management and contract negotiation. He intends to specialize in corporate and business law.
France
Ms. Fouques holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in law from the University Paris Ouest Nanterre La Defense, in France, where she double majored in French and Common law. She has also worked as a legal intern in the Intellectual Property Department of Allen & Overy LLP in Paris. Ms. Fouques intends to specialize in health law and bioethics.

Ms. Gao received her law degree from Peking University in China and has a bachelor's degree in Economics from the Chinese University of Geosciences in Wuhan, China. She has also worked as an intern for the People's Procuratorate of Beijing’s Haidian District, where she gained experience in Chinese criminal law, and at the law firm of King & Wood Mallesons, where she interned with the Securities Department. Ms. Gao is especially interested in the law governing antitrust and unfair competition.

Ms. Ghandehari received her law degree from Shahid Beheshti University and a master's degree in civil and Islamic law from the University of Tehran. She recently received a Master of Arts degree in human resource development from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She worked as a legal advisor for an international telecommunication's company in Tehran and also worked on litigation cases.

Ms. Gong has a master's degree in law from Peking University in Beijing and a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Beijing Forestry University. She has interned with the People's Procuratorate of Haidian District in Beijing. Ms. Gong was an active participant in student organizations throughout her educational career, and organized a variety of events to bring students together and educate local communities about basic legal concepts. Ms. Gong plans to specialize in real property law.

Ms. Guo earned her bachelor's degree in law from Tongji University in Shanghai, China and passed the Chinese Judicial Examination. Her thesis focused on the interaction between Chinese statutory law, the Uighur ethnic minority's customary laws, and Islamic law. Ms. Guo has also interned at the Zhabei District People's Court of Shanghai and worked as a legal assistant at the Zhongwang Law Firm of Xinjiang.

Mr. Hao has bachelor's degrees in both law and finance from the East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL) in Shanghai, China and is currently studying for an LL.M. in International Law from ECUPL. Ms. Hernandez received her LL.B. from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM). Since graduating she has gained extensive experience in corporate and real estate law. Most recently she worked as the Legal Director for a Retail Development Company, where she managed the in-house legal department and coordinated outside counsel.

Mr. Hou earned his master's degree in law from Peking University and his bachelor’s degree from the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing, China. After graduation he passed the Chinese Judicial Examination and worked as an attorney for the Zhonglun Law Firm in Beijing, where he gained experience in bankruptcy, telecoms, real estate and financial law. He has also interned at the Court of Yangzhou as a Judge's Assistant. Mr. Hou volunteered for the Legal Aid Center where he focused on issues concerning peasants’ and prisoners' rights.

Ms. Huang received her bachelor's degree in Law from National Taipei University in Taipei, Taiwan, in 2004. Mr. Ikwuegbu earned bachelor's degrees in law from the Nigerian Law School and the University of Nigeria. He has recently completed a Paralegal Certificate from Inver Hills Community College in Minnesota. Mr. Ikwuegbu has worked as a paralegal for the Nwaneri Law Firm in Eagan, Minnesota, and interned for the firm of Chukwudi Nwanya and Associates in Enugu, Nigeria.

Mr. Jang holds an LL.B. from the National Institute for Lifelong Education in Seoul, Korea. Ms. Johri has also volunteered with Ram Ratan Hospital in Patna, India, at the Center for Legal Aid and Literacy and with an organization specializing in Environmental Protection & Consumer Rights. During her time at Symbiosis University Ms. Johri worked to provide services to victims of human trafficking. She intends to specialize in criminal justice.
Democratic Republic of Congo/USA
Mr. Kabengele received his law degree from the University of Kinshasa, where he specialized in Labor Law. After graduation he worked as an attorney in a law firm in Kinshasa and for the General Directorate of Kinshasa Revenues. He also interned at the Kinshasa/Gombe Peace Tribunal in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Most recently Mr. Kabengele studied English at the North Hennepin Community College and tutored students learning English as a second language. He intends to focus on business law.
South Korea
Mr. Kang is a Lieutenant Commander in the Korean Navy. He earned his bachelor’s degree in law from the Kyung Hee University in Seoul, Korea. After graduation Mr. Kang passed the Korean bar exam and worked as a Legislative Officer for the Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff and Contracts Management Office. He became a Military Prosecutor and a Military Judge at the General Martial Court in Gyerong, Korea. Most recently he worked as a Staff Judge Advocate and a Military Judge for the Korean Navy in Gyerong. Mr. Kang has also studied international maritime law at the International Maritime Law Institute in Malta.

Mr. Kinalwa earned his law degree from the Uganda Christian University. After graduation he worked as a State Attorney for the Ugandan Directorate of Public Prosecution. Most recently Mr. Kinalwa studied medical billing and coding at the Anthem Institute in New Jersey and worked as a patient accounts representative for a company in New Jersey. He intends to specialize in Health Law & Bioethics.

Mr. Klenk is an exchange student from Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany. He earned his law degree from Freie Universität and Humboldt University in Berlin and took the First State Examination in Law in July 2013. From 2007 until 2008 Mr. Klenk worked in the German civil service, in the Department of Monuments of Berlin. He also has experience as a trainee at the Labor Court and Administrative Court in Berlin and at the Local Court Tempelhof-Kreuzberg. Since 2012 he has worked as a Research Associate at the law firm of Hengeler Mueller, where he focused on corporate law and public commercial law. He intends to specialize in corporate and financial law.

Mr. Luangprasert received his LL.B. from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok and was admitted to practice as a Barrister by the Thai Bar Association. He earned his LL.M. in Global Legal Studies from Case Western Reserve School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio.

Ms. Mei holds an LL.B. from the Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in Wuhan, China. She has interned in the legal department at Dongfeng Hongtai Holdings Group and for Hubei Gaochi Solicitors Ltd in Wuhan and at the Intermediate People's Court of Shiyan. Mr. Mo holds a bachelor's degree in economic and financial law and a master’s degree in criminal law from the National Taiwan University in Taipei. Most recently he has worked as a paralegal at Hung & Cheng’s Lega Office in Taoyuan, Taiwan and as a Senior Lecturer in criminal procedure at the Pao-Chen License Bar Review Institute. Mr. Mo has also served as a Corporal in the Coastguard division of the Taiwanese Military and worked as a research assistant on a number of projects at the National Taiwan University.

Mr. Nishida received his law degree from the University of Kobe, Japan, and earned his bachelor’s degree in law from Rikkyo University in Japan. He has worked as an attorney at the Alegria Law Office and as an Adviser at the Japan Legal Support Center in Tokyo. Mr. Nishida has also volunteered as a committee member of Human Rights Now, an organization working on international human rights, and as an Adviser for Burma's Refugee Serving Association, assisting Burmese asylum seekers. He intends to specialize in human rights law. Most recently Mr. Nishida has studied English in New York.

Ms. Oh earned her bachelor's degree in law from Dongguk University in Seoul, South Korea. During her undergraduate studies she helped to organize a global poverty forum to raise awareness about international human rights issues and interviewed a participant in the Burmese democratization movement. Ms. Oh is currently completing an Advanced Paralegal Certificate from Edmonds Community College in Edmonds, WA.

Mr. Otosaka received his bachelor's degree in law from the Chuo University in Tokyo. After graduation he worked as an Associate Manager in the legal department of a major pharmaceutical company, Astellas Pharma. Inc. in Tokyo. He hopes to specialize in the law governing the international pharmaceutical industry, intellectual property, and international business.

Mr. Park holds a bachelor's degree in law from Peking University in Beijing, China. He has also worked as an assistant to a legal officer and as a platoon commander in the Korean military, and volunteered for an organization for children with hearing impairments.

Mr. Rachmadi earned his law degree from the Universitas Indonesia in Jakarta. After graduation he worked as an associate attorney in the law firm of Soemadipradja & Taher in Jakarta, where he gained experience in corporate and financial law, energy and natural resources, commercial property and foreign investment law. He has also interned in the Karimsyah Law Firm in Jakarta. Mr. Rachmadi intends to specialize in business law.

Ms. Rattanakorn received her bachelor's degree in law from Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand. She also earned an LL.M. in U.S. and Global Legal Studies from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from American University Washington College of Law in Washington D.C. Ms. Rattanakorn has volunteered for organizations working with blind students and with Thai legal aid organizations. She has also interned at Suchart Law Office in Thailand. Ms. Rattanakorn intends to become a public prosecutor.

Ms. Sanchez is an exchange student from the Jean Moulin 3 University in Lyon, France. Ms. Sanchez has also participated in an international exchange program at the University of British Columbia, Canada. She has worked as a trainee in the corporate department of C.M.S. Ms. Sutter is an exchange student from Humboldt University in Germany. Ms. Sutter speaks fluent French, German and English. She has studied law at Humboldt University in Berlin and took the First State Exam in law in March 2013. Ms. Sutter has also received a law degree from Pantheon Assas University in Paris, France. She has interned at the law firm of Ullman Lawyers, the German Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumers Rights and with a judge at the Local Criminal Court of Berlin Tiergarten. She is interested in consumers’ rights, comparative law, international relations and human rights.

She also earned a degree in Tourism and Hotel Studies from Bangkok University, Thailand. Ms. Thangsawatdirat has worked as the Human Resources Chief at a Japanese company. Most recently she worked as a Contracts Administrator & Executive Secretary for a U.S. project management company, Construction Mgt. & Dev (Thailand). Ms. Thangsawatdirat has also worked as a receptionist for Unilever Thai Holdings Company and as an Administrative Officer at STMS, a property management company. She has studied Japanese in Japan and completed Level 2 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.

Ms. Tie earned her bachelor's degree in law from the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in Beijing, China. She has interned in the legal department of GE Healthcare China and at the law firm of Guo & Partners LLP in Beijing. Ms. Tie has volunteered as a primary school teacher for the children of migrant workers and as the Associate Director of the Law School Charity Group at UIBE.

He has interned at the China Legal Aid Center for Victims of Environmental Pollution in Beijing and at the Binzhou City Intermediate People's Court. After graduation Mr. Wang passed the Chinese national judicial examination. He most recently spent several months working in Australia and New Zealand.

Ms. Wongwilawan earned her bachelor's degree in law from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, and her LL.M. in International Business and Trade Law from Fordham University in New York. She has worked as an attorney for Photchara and Associates Law Firm in Nakhon Sawan, Thailand and P&P Law Firm in Bangkok, Thailand, where she focused on corporate, commercial and intellectual property law. Ms. Wongwilawan has also worked as an Import Assistant Manager for Lumphun Superrich Co., Ltd. in Chiangmai, Thailand and interned for Tilleke & Gibbins International Law Firm in Bangkok.

Mr. Yu holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Renmin University in Beijing, China and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Xinyang Teachers’ College in Xinyang City, China. Most recently Mr. Yu has worked as in-house counsel for Bayer (China) Limited in Beijing, where he specializes in intellectual property and trademark law. He has also worked as a Trademark Consultant for Rouse & Co. International in Beijing and as a Trademark Attorney for Lung Tin International IP Agenet Limited in Beijing.

Ms. Yuan earned her bachelor's degree in law from the China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) in Beijing. She has interned at the Haijia Law Firm in Beijing, the Guantao Law Firm in Beijing and at Gansu Province High People's Court in Lanzhou. She has also volunteered as a leader at the Legal Assistance Center of the Rural Law Research Association at CUPL. Ms. Yuan intends to focus on international business law.

Ms. Zhang has an LL.B. and a B.A. in Journalism from the East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai, China. While earning her undergraduate degree she was the head of public relations for the Students' Union of the School of Humanities at her university. Ms. Zhang has interned at the Neijiang Daily newspaper in Neijiang, the China Financial Futures Exchange in Shanghai and the Realiser Hainan Law Firm in Haikou, China. She intends to specialize in business and financial law.
