Gopher Gratitude Day

Each fall, students, faculty, and staff come together to celebrate Gopher Gratitude Day, Minnesota Law's holiday of gratitude. The 2024 event celebrated the generous support of alumni and friends, highlighting the impact of philanthropy across all areas of the Law School. Students wrote thank-you notes to donors, tested their knowledge with philanthropy trivia, and voted on the area of the Law School that would receive a $1,000 donation — thanks to a generous donor. Although we celebrate in November, we are grateful for donors year-round.

At Minnesota Law, experiential learning is at the heart of our students' legal education. Our legal clinics, simulation courses in our Law in Practice program, supervised field placements, corporate externships, residency and fellowship programs, and pro bono opportunities with our community partners set students up for success so they are prepared to practice from day one.
