Law-Students Printer Installation for MacOS

Important Requirement: On campus, your Windows laptop needs to connect to the eduroam wifi network. Off campus, setting up a VPN connection is needed.

  1. Download the installation program.
  2. Locate the downloaded file with name pc-print-deploy-client[law-printers.ad.umn.edu].dmg.
  3. Click the file to extract the package.

  4. Click "PaperCut Print Deploy Client.pkg"

  5. Click "Continue" on the welcome to the installer introduction screen

  6. Click "Continue" on the Software License Agreement screen

  7. Click "Agree" to continue the installation process.

  8. Click "Install" to proceed with installation process

  9. Type your password (the user name is blanked out in the picture), click "Install Software".

  10. Click “Don’t Allow” or “OK”

  11. Installation successfully, Click “Close”

  12. Click “Move to Trash”.

  13. An adding printer window pops-up. In the case no pop-up window appears, follow refresh your printers.

  14. Enter your U of M Internet ID and password, click “Sign in and add printers”.

  15. The printer “Law-Students” was installed and ready to use.
