Mr. Oualid Abid
Tunisia
Mr. Abid earned a bachelor's in public law and international relations from Hassan II University in Casablanca, Morocco and a master's degree in political science from the University of Padova in Italy. He has worked all over the world, including in Tunisia, France, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the Philippines and the United States. He is an Arabic, French and English translator/interpreter. Most recently he worked as a clinic assistant for the Volunteer Lawyer's Network and interned with the Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR) in Minneapolis.
Mr. Waleed Ahmed
Egypt/USA
Mr. Ahmed received his LL.B. from Mansoura University of Law in Egypt. As an attorney he worked primarily in litigation and has had many civil, criminal, corporate and labor cases. He has also worked as an English-Arabic translator in Saudi Arabia and currently works as a translator in the U.S.
Mr. Ali Alshehri
Saudi Arabia
Mr. Alshehri received his law degree and a diploma in computer applications from Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He most recently worked as a graphic designer for the Saud Student Center and studied English at the Language Academy in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.
Mr. Mohammad Al-Yusuf
Saudi Arabia/USA
Mr. Al-Yusuf received his law degree from King AbdulAziz University. As a student he helped create the Young Lawyers Volunteer Group and helped create and plan the first Lawyer’s Forum at King AbdulAziz University. He owns a café, Sports Café, in Jeddah and most recently worked as a partner and executive manager of Strategy Falcons in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Christian Ignacio Andreasen
Argentina
Mr. Andreasen obtained his law degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires—Facultad de Derecho, Argentina, where he also received a post-graduate degree in oil and gas law. He has worked as an associate attorney in several law firms, including Beretta Godoy S.C. and Mitrani, Caballero, Rosso Alba, Francia, Ojam & Ruiz Moreno—Abogados, and he has recently worked as regional in-house counsel for Skanska Latin America. Mr. Andreasen's practice focuses on business, construction, energy, and oil and gas law.
Ms. Jiahui Cai
China
Ms. Cai received her LL.B. from Shenzhen University in Shenzhen, China. She worked as a senior assistant for the City Development Law Firm. She currently works as a lawyer for Shu Jin Law Firm, primarily on real estate, corporations and securities legal services to local and international companies.
Mr. Arthur Chaslot
France
Mr. Chaslot is an exchange student from the University of Lyon in France. He also has an international law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law. He interned as a legal advisor at BBC Worldwide France and focused on business law during his internship with Colber Avocats law firm. He also worked as a freelance writer for Lyon Capitale, a local newspaper.
Ms. Hsin-Yi Chien
Taiwan
Ms. Chien received her LL.B. from National Taipei University where she studied financial and economic law. She worked as an attorney in Direction International Law Office and Kim Attorneys-At-Law, primarily on criminal, civil and administrative law cases. She also worked as a legal aid attorney in Legal Aid Foundation for labor, aboriginal people, and adolescent cases.
Ms. Laddawon Chittungtrong
Thailand
Ms. Chittungtrong studied law at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand and received a diploma in contemporary legal studies from Kyushu University in Japan. She also studied negotiation and mediation at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa and comparative legal studies at the Illinois Institute of Technology. She worked as a legal officer for the Thai Office of the Judiciary. She is currently serving as a judge on the Samutprakarn Provincial Court for civil and criminal cases.
Mr. Elsayed Ellebishy
Egypt
Mr. Ellebishy received his law degree from Tanta University in Egypt. He has worked as a prosecution assistant and a judge and is currently a Chief Judge. He is interested in international human rights law and more specifically, he would like to learn more about how different countries investigate discrimination against minorities.
Mr. Muyuan Gao
China
Mr. Gao studied law at China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing. He worked as a trainee at Beijing Dong Fang Law Firm in Beijing and at Liaoning Han Lin Law Firm in Liaoning Province where he worked on civil cases. He also worked as a trainee at Chaoyang Intermediate People’s Court in Liaoning Province. His thesis, "The Double-edged Sword of Network Era- the Theory of P2P Technology and Copyright Infringement" was published in the Peace Liaoning Law Journal.
Mr. Kamyar Ghorbanebrahimi
Iran
Mr. Ghorbanebrahimi earned his LL.B. from Shiraz University. He wrote historical articles for Setak, a Shiraz University magazine. He also managed professional sessions in Shiraz University and helped organize and run a national conference about disabled persons held at the university. After his graduation, he worked as a legal director and financial manager of a private marine company and as a representative of two foreign firms in Iran.
Ms. Karina Hata
Brazil
Ms. Hata received her law degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, Brazil. She most recently worked as a lawyer for Lautenschleger, Romeiro and Iwamizu Advogados, primarily on civil and commercial litigation cases regarding civil and product liability issues involving Brazilian and foreign companies.
Ms. Jing He
China
Ms. He studied law at the University of International Business and Economics where she also directed the law school Volunteer Group and was Vice President of their university T.V. station. She performed legal research as an intern at YingKe Law Firm in Beijing.
Ms. Trine Nygaard Johnsen
Norway
Ms. Johnsen will receive her master in law from the University of Tromsø in spring 2013. She worked as a sales consultant for Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA and as a cultural representative at Walt Disney World Resort, Epcot theme park near Orlando, Florida. She also interned with the Haalogaland Lagmannsrett Court of Appeal and had a summer job at Linnet & Co Law Firm.
Mr. Youchull Jung
South Korea
Mr. Jung received his LL.B. and a master in business law from Yonsei University in Seoul. He currently works as a prosecutor for the Finance & Tax Investigation Division of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office in Korea. He has also worked as the Deputy Director of the Financial Policy Division for the Korean Ministry of Finance and Economy for five years.
Ms. Insil Kang
South Korea
Ms. Kang received a double major in law and psychology from Korea University. She also has a master of law in constitutional law and is currently pursuing her juris doctor from the Korea University School of Law in Seoul. She is also a legal researcher for the Legal Research Institute of Korea University. Previously, she worked as a journalist and teacher.
Mr. James Keeble
Ecuador
Mr. Keeble studied international relations and law at la Universidad San Francisco de Quito. He most recently worked as a partner for Fernández de Córdoba, Montúfar y Keeble Abogados in Quito. He works on alternative dispute resolution matters, and environmental and intellectual property law transactions. He also advises his clients on how to create corporations.
Ms. Nhanepo Kombate
Togo
Ms. Kombate received her law degree from the Cheikh Anta Diop University in Senegal and also studied security policies at the University of Toulouse in France. She interned with the Office of Master Natasha Smith in France and the Office of Master Ibrahima Gueye in Senegal where she did legal research and monitored client files.

South Korea
Mr. Kwon studied law at Korea University. He also worked as an associate at Daewood Electronics Co., Ltd. He was an assistant manager for the Corporate Legal Affairs department at SK Networks Co., Ltd. Most recently he was a manager for the corporate legal affairs department at SK Networks Co., Ltd. in Seongnam, Korea.
Ms. Jeonghwa Kwon

Ms. Kwon studied physical chemistry at Pusan National University. She also studied at the Judicial Research and Training Institute. She worked as a family law lawyer and legal advisor for Gachon University Gil Hospital at Daik Law Office and also on white-collar crime cases at Jongsik Moon Law Office. Most recently she worked as a lawyer for Danwon Law Firm on civil, criminal and administrative law cases.
Mr. KwangSun Lee

Mr. Lee received his LL.B. from Sungkyunkwan University and a master in labor law from Korea University in Seoul. He currently works as an associate lawyer for Jipyong & Jisung Attorneys at Law where he deals with transactional cases. He also worked as an in-house lawyer for CJ Corporation and as a law clerk for the Seoul Central District Court.
Mr. Sang Su Lee

Mr. Lee received his bachelor's degree in law from Korea University where he also received a master's degree and PhD. in law. He also has a bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Literature. He worked as a tutor at Korea University's Law School.

Mr. Lee received a bachelor's degree in economics from Hanyang University, and a bachelor's degree in law from Korea National Open University. He also received master's degree from KonKuk University Graduate School of Real Estate. He worked as the Overseas Real Estate Development Team for Hanil Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd and most recently worked for Kolon Corporation Co., Ltd as their Deputy General Manager of the Business Planning and Development Team.
Ms. Chia-Hsiang Liu

Ms. Liu studied law at Soochow University. She worked as a family law clerk for the Taiwan BanCiao District Court. She most recently worked as an attorney for Kao and Partners Law Firm in a wide variety of areas including family law, corporate law and criminal law.
Mr. Guanming Liu
China
Mr. Liu received his law degree from Jilin University and a master's of law from the Chinese University of Hong Kong where he studied common law. He interned with the criminal division of the Shenzhen Futian District Court, and worked for the Champion Faith Asia Limited Company in Hong Kong primarily with company and labor contracts. He most recently worked for Guang He Law Firm in Shenzhen City, China in criminal litigation and international trade and investment law.
Mr. Hanqing Liu

Mr. Liu studied law at the University of International Business and Economics where he majored in international economic law. He interned at Yingke Law Firm and Jincheng Tongda & Neal Law Firm where he performed legal research and wrote draft briefs and legal memoranda and completed client intake interviews.
Mr. Shang-Ming Liu
Taiwan
Mr. Liu received his law degree from Soochow University in Taiwan where he studied the law of finance and economics. He worked as an associate at Giant Era International Law Firm on business cases and as the deputy director at Da Jie Law Firm on litigation cases. He most recently worked as a managing partner for his own firm, JL Attorneys at Law. He also worked on pro bono cases for the Legal Aid Foundation for the Ministry of Justice.
Ms. Mariana Celeste Mogoruza

Ms. Mogoruza received her law degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires—Facultad de Derecho in Argentina. She interned at the Garland County Circuit Court, 18th Judicial District in Arkansas, where she attended civil and criminal trials. In Buenos Aires, Ms. Mogoruza worked as a paralegal at Beretta Godoy S.C. Law Firm on a wide range of legal matters, and she most recently worked as an associate attorney at Marval O’Farrell & Mairal Law Firm focusing on corporate and foreign exchange issues.
Ms. Laila Mohammed

Ms. Mohammed studied law at Sana'a University in Sana'a, Yemen and studied abroad at Bochum University in Bochum, Germany. She actively participates with Madar Human Rights Advocates in Sana'a. She is a Fulbright scholar.
Ms. Sophie Montagne
France
Ms. Montagne is an exchange student from the University of Lyon III, Institute of Law and Business Economics in France. She has two master's degrees in business law and business & tax law. She trained with Cabinet Quartèse Avocats, a business law firm in Lyon, France. She also trained with the Philips Lighting human resources department, and CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre-Lyon's labor and employment law department. She also teaches constitutional law at Collège Supérieur de Lyon in France.
Mr. Hidehito Ohashi

Mr. Ohashi received his law degree from Aichi Gakuin University in Japan. He also studied English at Oregon State University and Louisiana State University. He worked as a manager for Sceti Co., Ltd./Sceti KK in Tokyo and as a general manager for Nichifuts Boeki K.K.'s Food Ingredients Business Department in Tokyo. He most recently worked as a freelance consultant advising food and health manufacturing companies on food regulations for goods imported from the EU, USA and Canada.
Mr. Jorge Sepulveda
Chile
Mr. Sepulveda studied law at Universidad de Chile and recently occupied the position of Visiting Scholar at Duke Law School. He worked as a teaching assistant for Professor Raúl Tavolari' procedural law course at Universidad de Chile and lately as an associate for CorreaGubbins on dispute resolution and anti-trust cases and represented a number of leading Chilean companies.

Ms. Tan received her law degree from Fudan University in Shanghai. She interned at the Yangpu District, Shanghai Legal Aid Center. She also interned at the Judicial Institute in Luoyang Town, Wujin District, Changzhou City. She published a paper entitled, "Critiques of China's New Company Laws Introducing Paying Capital Contributions by Installments."
Mr. Jurgen van den Heuvel
The Netherlands
Mr. van den Heuvel is an exchange student from Tilburg University in Tilburg, The Netherlands. He studied at the University of Minnesota Law School as an exchange student during the Fall 2010 semester. He interned at Ernst & Young Tax Advisers filing tax returns, working with clients and writing appeals against income tax assessments. He also interned at FNV Bondgenoten performing research and working on his thesis about non-compete clauses in Dutch law.

Ms. Wang studied law at National Taipei University and participated in the 2012 Annual Willem C. Vis (East) International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court. She also interned at Lee & Li Attorneys-at-law where she performed legal research, wrote memoranda for court, and worked with clients.

Ms. Yooprasert received her LL.B. and an LL.M. degree from Thammasat University and studied political science at Sukothai Thammatirat Open University. She practiced as a lawyer for the Thai Lawyer Association.

Ms. Yu studied law at Ewha Womans University and at KOABELS: American Law Research Institute in Seoul. She also studied English in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was the first president of Amnesty International in her university, and she recently interned at The Walt Disney Company in Korea.
