Since 2002, the Theatre of the Relatively Talentless (TORT) has produced a springtime musical that is written, directed, and performed by Minnesota Law students (with some star cameos by faculty and the dean). Each year offers a performance that is not to be missed.

This award was given in recognition of Somermeyer’s long-term commitment to pro bono work in housing law.
