Join the Human Rights Center during Spring Alumni Week for a special CLE focused on global business, labor, and human rights, featuring Jeff Vockrodt ’05, President and CEO of the Fair Labor Association (FLA).

Jeff’s presentation will explore the practical implementation of human rights due diligence in today’s evolving regulatory landscape, drawing on FLA’s projects and programs as illustrative examples. The FLA is an international network of companies, universities, and civil society organizations promoting human rights at work, with members based in 22 countries around the world.

Jeff is a graduate of the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School, Law School, and Humphrey School and has dedicated his career to advancing workers’ rights and responsible business practices as an organizer, attorney, policymaker, and executive. He has held leadership positions at organizations including the US Department of Labor and Climate Jobs NY and has advanced human rights in the workplace through his work with labor unions, the International Labor Organization, and the law firm of James & Hoffman.

The CLE will include opening remarks by Associate Dean Oren Gross and Professor Fionnuala Ní Aoláin, the keynote presentation, and a discussion moderated by Amanda Lyons, Executive Director of the Human Rights Center.
