LL.M. Trial Practice
Class will focus on how to most effectively present a case with evidence and live witnesses before a judge or jury. Students will develop skills through in-class exercises. Using a case file students will prepare and perform different aspects of a jury trial including opening statements, witness examinations, and closing arguments and receive immediate instructor feedback. Class culminates in a final trial with class members representing each side trying the case against each other.
