Scott is a trial lawyer at Larson King, with a practice focused on professional liability, construction, and business litigation. He has tried multiple cases to verdict in state and federal courts and in arbitration. 

After graduating summa cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, Scott served as a judicial law clerk in the Minnesota Court of Appeals for the Honorable Jill Flaskamp Halbrooks. He then litigated medical malpractice cases at a nationally recognized Minneapolis firm. Prior to joining Larson • King, Scott served as trial counsel for individuals and companies in business and construction cases.

Scott competed in mock trial programs in high school, college, and law school, and continues to stay involved in those activities. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association's Mock Trial Committee, coaches various mock trial teams, and helps run Larson King's advocacy training program. He also serves as faculty for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy’s Building Trial Skills program.
