Sarani Rangarajan Millican ’22

Sarani Rangarajan Millican is an associate at Dorsey & Whitney LLP, where she brings together her love of problem-solving, her global perspective, and her knack for turning technical puzzles into persuasive advocacy. A graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, where she earned her J.D. cum laude, Sarani honed her skills clerking for Judge Julie Allyn in Minnesota’s Fourth Judicial District (on the major felonies circuit) before diving into intellectual property litigation. Her colleagues know her as the lawyer who can make even the most complex dispute sound like an engaging story—clear, strategic, and human.

Born abroad and trained across disciplines, Sarani approaches the law with a mix of humor, humility, and curiosity. She’s a devoted mentor and an unshakable optimist who believes every challenge holds something to learn (or at least laugh about).
