Jacquelyn S. Lutz is the Lead of the Family Law Division at Messick Law, PLLC and an alumna of the law school. Her practice focuses exclusively on representing individuals in family law litigation. Outside the courtroom, she volunteers as an attorney ethics investigator and is a passionate advocate for breastfeeding education. Jacquelyn has been presenting continuing legal education seminars on breastfeeding for the family law bar and judicial bench since 2018. She co-authored an article for Bench & Bar magazine promoting amendments to Minnesota’s family law chapters to include statutory guidance on breastfeeding and parenting time. In 2022 she was honored by a Minnesota Lawyer with Diversity & Inclusion award for her work finding, financing, and filling racial equity education courses for her fellow practitioners. Most recently she hosted an 8-hour course taught over four weeks focused on Minnesota Indian culture and healing.
