Daniel Ziebarth

Visiting Fellow

Dan Ziebarth is a Visiting Fellow at the Human Rights Center and a PhD Candidate at Wageningen University researching international law with focus primarily on human rights, migration, climate change, refuge, and commerce. At the Center Dan’s research aims to better conceptualize and analyze legal protective status for those displaced across international borders as a result of climate change; through a lens of domestic, regional, and international legal statutes and case law to better assess this issue.

His work has been published in or is forthcoming in journals including the UIC Law Review, St. Mary's Law Journal, Australian International Law Journal, and University of Vienna Law Review. He has also presented at numerous academic legal conferences, including at Northwestern Law School, NYU Law School, and the National University of Singapore, as well has previously holding roles as a Visiting Fellow at Bucerius Law School and Ernst Mach Fellow at the Austrian Institute of International Affairs.
