Chris is an in-house employment attorney and community leader. While in private practice, Chris defended employers against discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour charges and claims in both state and federal court. He also counseled employers on various employment and labor challenges. Chris served as the judicial law clerk for Judge Tracy Perzel and as a judicial extern for Judge Tanya M. Bransford, giving him unique insight into the judicial decision-making process and litigation strategy.
In law school, Chris served as an executive board member of the University of St. Thomas's law review. He also held a legal internship with Target Corporation where he worked with in-house attorneys on deals and product liability issues.
Outside of work, Chris has sat on executive boards for the Minnesota Asian Pacific American Bar Association and the Minneapolis-St. Paul Chapter of the American Constitution Society. He also enjoys spending time with his wife (who is also an employment attorney), son, and dog traveling to different countries, trying new foods, and exploring on his motorcycle.
