Judge Wilton was appointed the Scott County Bench in 2012. Previously, he was as an Assistant United States Attorney in Minneapolis for the District of Minnesota between 2002 - 2012. As a federal prosecutor, Judge Wilton prosecuted violations of the controlled substance act, child abuse cases, public corruption, major crimes and white-collar crimes. From 1994-2002, Judge Wilton worked as an Assistant Ramsey County Attorney where he prosecuted child abuse cases and gang crimes.
