Brett Olander is in solo practice as a full-time mediator/arbitrator after a long career in civil trial law and in corporate management at a Fortune 50 company. He has mediated nearly 4,000 disputes related to torts, insurance, securities, commercial transactions, employment, real estate, probate, and select family law matters.
In addition to his law practice, Olander has a broad spectrum of experience serving the community and the profession, including: current President and Board Chair of Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS) serving the poor in 33 counties of Southern MInnesota, Minnesota Board of Legal Certification (Past Chair), Minnesota Board of Continuing Legal Education, Minnesota State Bar Civil Litigation Section (Past Chair), American College of Civil Trial Mediators (ACCTM), American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), and Litigation Counsel of America (LCA).
