Bill Laramy teaches and writes in the areas of business associations, corporate governance, law and economics, antitrust, international entrepreneurship, and the international environment of business.

Mr. Laramy received his B.A. in history and business, magna cum laude, in 2004 from Drake University. He received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2007, magna cum laude. Mr. Laramy received his M.B.A. from the Carlson School of Management in 2008. In addition, Mr. Laramy is in his fifth year of doctoral study at the Carlson School and anticipates defending his dissertation in spring 2027.

Mr. Laramy has presented research to the American Law and Economics Association, Academy of Management, Academy of International Business, and other selective research organizations. His research has won awards from the Academy of Management.

Prior to his doctoral studies, Mr. Laramy was a partner at Stinson LLP and senior corporate counsel for U.S. Bank National Association. At Stinson LLP, Mr. Laramy worked in the private business and financial services practice groups and focused on mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, and financing transactions.
