Anna McGinn is a Staff Attorney at the Great North Innocence Project. The Great North Innocence Project works to free the wrongfully convicted and to prevent wrongful convictions from occurring in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.  Anna screens, investigates, and litigates cases involving claims of actual innocence, and she advocates for reforms that would increase fairness, accuracy, equity, and accountability in our criminal justice system.  Anna specializes in the reinvestigation of claims of actual innocence, with particular emphasis on the role of flawed forensic science, eyewitness misidentification, and prosecutorial misconduct in contributing to miscarriages of justice.
