Alan Eidsness has retired from Henson Efron after an illustrious 50-year career as a family law attorney. He is the only family law attorney in Minnesota inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers and has led the family law group at Henson Efron since its inception.
1982
Michael Scheller retired as a principal attorney editor at Thomson Reuters. He was the lead editor of the U.S.C.A General Index and assisted the law revision counsel of the U.S. House of Representatives in preparing the U.S. Code General Index.

Kevin Fenton is publishing his third book and second novel, Cyan Magenta Yellow Black, with Black Lawrence Press in September 2025.

Andrea Walsh was elected to serve on the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis’ board of directors as a Class B director. Class B directors are elected by member banks to represent the public and the many sectors of the economy.
Chad Baruch was named to Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Lawyers in America for 2025.

Hon. Sean Quinn was reappointed to the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals by Governor Tim Walz.
Hon. Natalie Tyrrell retired from the North Las Vegas Township Justice Court. Judge Tyrrell served as Justice of the Peace in North Las Vegas since January 2001 and served four terms. She also was named Judge of the Year for 2024, her final year on the bench, by the Nevada Judges of Limited Jurisdiction.
Zhao Zhang was awarded Best Lawyer of the Year (Corporate and M&A) of the 2024 China Awards by The Legal 500 for his work with complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions businesses.

Benjamin Mulcahy was an honoree on Variety’s 2024 Dealmakers report, where he received recognition for his role in large transactions at the intersection of sports and entertainment, including his representation of Amazon Prime Video in its media rights deal with the National Basketball Association for an 11-year exclusive package of NBA and WNBA games.

Jennifer Stohl Powell was selected as the executive director of the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota. Powell has focused on serving low-income farmworker, immigrant, and refugee clients throughout her career and will continue helping immigrant and refugee clients navigate immigration laws.

Charles Dickinson recently served as the government’s lead staff attorney on an antitrust lawsuit, successfully winning an injunction blocking the largest supermarket merger in U.S. history. The merging parties abandoned their proposed $24 billion transaction.

Christopher Hanrahan received the Attorney General’s David Margolis Award for Exceptional Services for his work as part of the team that prosecuted the Tree of Life Synagogue shooter. This is the highest award given by the Justice Department to recognize employee achievement.
