Join the Human Rights Center for a special conversation with Justin Mazzola, Deputy Director of Research for Amnesty International USA. 

Justin will: 

  • Discuss the repression of the right to freedom of assembly in the United States through the lens of several protest movements in the US.
  • Look at backlash against these movements from states, the federal government, and universities and discuss how Amnesty International and Amnesty International USA’s research work has evolved to monitor those protests. 

Justin has worked with Amnesty International since 2003 covering immigration, criminal justice, policing and the right to protest in the United States.

This event is free and open to all. Please plan to bring your own lunch.
