Mornings at Mondale

The rapid evolution of technology has transformed health care, leading to increased collection, use, and sharing of health data. This transformation raises critical data privacy concerns,  and lawyers in the field need a comprehensive understanding of emerging legal frameworks and best practices. In this CLE, panelists will explore the evolving landscape of health data privacy in the context of emerging technologies and examine key regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA and state laws, and their implications for the collection, use, and sharing of health information. They will address the unique privacy challenges posed by telehealth, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Medical Things, and big data analytics. They will also offer practical guidance on best practices and compliance strategies for legal professionals advising clients in this complex and rapidly changing field.
