Gavels for Gophers

While women’s representation in the legal field has come a long way in the past several decades, there is still more progress to be made in a largely male-dominated profession. This is particularly true for women lawyers wishing to enter to the judiciary. So how should women attorneys position themselves for the bench? In this CLE, four women judges will share their own personal paths to the bench, and the challenges, successes, and hurdles they faced. While every judge's experience is unique, the paths taken by these four judges—each woman a trailblazer opening the way to more diverse representation on the bench—is full of advice and takeaways for those wishing to pursue a career in the judiciary.
