Mornings at Mondale

Join Mornings at Mondale for a CLE session offering a targeted examination of how unconscious bias infiltrates every stage of the litigation process, from a lawyer's preparation to a judge's final ruling.

Focused discussion will cover how implicit bias affects attorney behavior in client and witness interactions, impacts the presentation and perception of evidence during trial, and influences judicial decision-making through rulings, jury instructions, and sentencing.

This session provides actionable strategies to ensure fairness in the courtroom and attendees will learn practical steps, such as introducing "frictional delay" into the decision process, to understand and aggressively target implicit bias for a more just administration of law.
