Law Practice Technology

This course will provide students with a theoretical understanding of, as well as practical skills training related to, current technological advances that are changing the way attorneys manage and deliver legal services.  The course will focus on current technologies and their impact on law practice, including ethical considerations. Students will be introduced to and receive training on technologies commonly used in law practice.  Areas of focus will include but not be limited to: cybersecurity and client confidentiality; law practice management systems; virtual law practice; competitive intelligence; legal analytics; and artificial intelligence.
