Products Liability
This course will cover the major theories of liability with respect to injuries caused by the use of allegedly defective consumer products, including a discussion of regulation as it relates to such litigation. We will cover the requirements of each of the major causes of action in product litigation, together with appropriate defenses and damages related to those causes of action. Because it is so central to products liability litigation, we will also discuss expert testimony.
