Maria de Sam Lazaro works in the Large Business & International division of the IRS Office of Chief Counsel. Her work includes advising LB&I compliance agents, handling litigation in U.S. Tax Court, and referring and recommending litigation to the Department of Justice. Her prior experience also includes handling general civil litigation in state and federal courts, as well as representing pro bono clients in immigration court.
