Prof. Bernard Levinson Edits and Contributes to The Betrayal of the Humanities: The University During the Third Reich.  

Affiliated Professor of Law Bernard Levinson, Berman Family Chair in Jewish Studies and Hebrew Bible, was an editor and contributor to The Betrayal of the Humanities: The University During the Third Reich. The compilation of studies examines the ways academics in Germany became not only beholden to, but collaborators with, the Nazi regime. Minnesota Law professor Oren Gross was a contributor to the volume. In addition, the compilation of studies has recently received an enthusiastic commendation in the Harvard Gazette, written by Jonathan Zittrain a senior member of the Harvard Law School and at Harvard John F. Kennedy School of Government.
