Prof. Paul Vaaler Interviewed by Star Tribune About 3M Employees Bribe to Chinese Government Officials

Professor Paul Vaaler was interviewed by the Star Tribune about the SEC's recent ruling that some 3M employees bribed Chinese government officials in an attempt to secure contracts. Professor Paul Vaaler told the Star Tribune, "One of the real challenges for a multinational is how they exert control over and govern their foreign subsidiaries," Vaaler said. "The price of giving more discretion to subsidiaries is less control over activities like you see here."
