Robina Institute Executive Director Kelly Mitchell Appears on MPR’s Counter Stories to Discuss Minnesota’s Parole and Probation Policies

Kelly Mitchell, executive director of the Robina Institute of Criminal Law and Criminal Justice, appeared on Minnesota Public Radio’s Counter Stories podcast to discuss sentencing, probation, and parole in Minnesota. Ms. Mitchell, who is also chair of the Minnesota Sentencing Guidelines Commission, explained the Commission’s recent decision to approve a five year cap on probation sentences and the potential impact the action may have in the state.
