Prof. Vaaler Interviewed About Target Settlement of Data Breach Claims by 47 State Attorneys General

Professor Paul M. Vaaler was interviewed by Fox 9 Television (Minneapolis) for comment on the May 23, 2017 announcement that Target had settled potential claims by 47 state attorneys general arising out of Target’s data breach scandal in November-December 2013. Target will pay $18.5 million to be allocated to state AG offices and implement various safeguards to assure against future breaches.
