Prof. Stein, VP Mondale and Fisher Publish Article on the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court

Professor Robert A. Stein ('61) has coauthored an article, with Vice President Walter Mondale ('56) and Caitlinrose Fisher ('15), addressing the challenge of ensuring that our constitutional liberties are not eroded by our foreign intelligence operations. The article, "No Longer a Neutral Magistrate: The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court in the Wake of the War on Terror," is published in the June 2016 issue of the Minnesota Law Review. The authors write, "We believe...that it is necessary and possible to develop a strong and effective foreign intelligence program within the constitutional constraints established by our founders."Â
