Prof. Vaaler Comments on Corporate Restructuring at Target HQ Following Mass Layoffs

Professor Paul Vaaler was interviewed by WCCO News Radio's Dave Lee on Minneapolis-based Target's corporate restructuring plan following the layoff of nearly 1,700 workers at its headquarters operations last week. In addition, 1,400 "open" employment positions were closed. Target CEO Brian Cornell hopes to decrease the number of personnel layers and create cross-disciplinary "centers of excellence" in headquarters operations.
