Prof. Kirtley Speaks on Data Protection and Drones in New York, Montreal and Minneapolis
Professor Jane Kirtley gave presentations on data protection, global privacy, and the First Amendment and privacy issues involving drones at three different conferences in the past week. On Nov. 14, she delivered the opening lecture for the panel on "Global Privacy and Data Protection" at the Practising Law Institute's Communications Law in the Digital Age conference in New York. On Nov. 15, she appeared on the "Privacy Update" panel at the Ad IDEM/Canadian Media Lawyers Association annual conference in Montreal. On Nov. 18, she was a panelist on "Eyes in the Sky: DRONES - Why Should You Care?" at the 2014 Computer & Technology Law Institute hosted by Minnesota Continuing Legal Education at the CLE Conference Center in Minneapolis.
