Prof. Kirtley Presents at Three Sessions at AEJMC Conference

Professor Jane Kirtley took part in three sessions at the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) 97th Annual Conference in Montreal. On August 6, her presentation, "The First Amendment and Whistleblowers," was part of a panel entitled "Whistleblowing in Government and Free Expression." That day, she also appeared on a second panel entitled "Federal Shield Law: A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing?" On August 8, she was the discussant for a refereed research paper session, "Issues of Access, Privacy and Newsgathering."
