Prof. McGeveran Speaks to NBCNews.com on Minnesota Student's Speech Lawsuit

Professor William McGeveran spoke to NBCnews.com about a lawsuit brought by a Rogers, Minnesota, high school student who was suspended from school for a comment made in an Internet forum. McGeveran, who specializes in Internet and privacy law, said that the school and law enforcement clearly overreacted in the case. He put part of the blame on the difficulty of adjusting to new technology and the pressure to respond to online bullying and threats.
