U.S. Supreme Court Preview Panel – 2024-25 Term
Join three of the Law School’s distinguished faculty experts and The Honorable Elizabeth G. Bentley, former visiting assistant professor, for a lively panel discussion previewing the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2024-25 term. The event will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 in Mondale Hall, room 25 (Lockhart Hall).

The panelists will offer their insights into some of the major cases on the 2024-25 docket, focusing on the following, while remaining subject to change:
- Free Speech Coalition, Inc. v. Paxton (Texas pornography adult verification statute)
- United States v. Skrmetti (Tennessee minor transgender healthcare ban)
- Garland v. VanDerStok (ghost guns)
- FDA v. Wages and White Lion Investments, LLC (vaping)
- Nuclear Regulatory Commission v. Texas
- Velazquez v. Garland (noncitizen voluntary-departure period)
- Delligatti v. United States (what counts as a physical force crime)
Prof. Rozenshtein will kick off the program with a brief introduction, followed by the panel discussion. An audience Q&A will follow.
