Emily Polachek

Emily Polachek is serving as an adjunct professor for the Environmental Law Moot Court writing class and the competition team. Emily is an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Major Crimes Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Minneapolis. She serves as the USAO’s Environmental Crimes Coordinator. Before coming home to Minnesota, Emily spent more than five years with the Appellate Section of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Environment & Natural Resources Section. Emily began her legal career clerking for then-Justice David Stras at the Minnesota Supreme Court and for U.S. District Judge Eric Melgren in Wichita, Kansas.
