Prof. Feld Quoted in Rolling Stone Magazine

Professor Barry Feld was quoted extensively in Rolling Stone about juveniles' vulnerability to give false confessions. The Netflix documentary, Making of a Murderer, investigated the case of 16-year-old Brendan Dassey sentenced to prison for life based on a confession his attorney's argue was coerced. Based on the research in his prize-winning book, "Kids, Cops, and Confessions:  Inside the Interrogation Room" (NYU Press 2013), Feld explained why juveniles are more likely than adults to confess falsely.
