Prof. Wolf Leads NIH-Funded Conference on Returning Genomic Results to Family

Professor Susan Wolf led a national conference tackling the challenging question of whether family members should have access to a research participant's genomic results. The conference was part of a $2.4 million NIH-funded grant project that Wolf is directing with colleagues from the Mayo Clinic and UCSF. Scientists, physicians, lawyers, ethicists, and federal policy-makers convened at the University of Minnesota for a day-long meeting to respond to draft guidance from the project group and debate the issues.
