Professor Myron Orfield provided testimony to the New Jersey Legislature's Assembly Budget and Education Committees, regarding Governor Jon Corzine's proposal to overhaul the state's system for funding education. The new plan would provide more funding for the poorest districts in New Jersey, with increased funding to those districts with growing numbers of poor and immigrant children.
