Ryan Strom coaches his youth baseball and hockey, is a wannabe handyman and spends 51 weeks of the year for one glorious week in the Boundary Waters. In his spare time, he’s also an in-house intellectual property attorney at Target, where his primary areas of responsibility are patents, data security and open source software. He also handles license agreements, some trademarks matters here and there, and IP acquisitions.

Before joining Target, Ryan worked at several local law firms as a patent and trademark attorney and as a litigator. He has also worked in house for Philip Morris International in Mexico City, developing and implementing brand enforcement strategies throughout its Latin American & Canada region.  Le encanta México.
