Jeff Hohenshell

Adjunct Professor Hohenshell brings thirty four years of experience as an intellectual property attorney to the Patent Law Program. He was in-house patent counsel for Medtronic for 17 years, 3M for over 11 years, and the sole in-house counsel for American Medical Systems for three years. He also spent almost two years as a United States Patent Examiner. Currently, he is the sole Senior Patent Counsel for Cardiovascular Systems, Inc. Adjunct Professor Hohenshell has managed international intellectual property disputes for his various clients including trials in Sydney Australia, London England and several Federal Courts in the U.S. and at the U.S. Patent Office. He specializes in post grant proceedings including Inter Partes Reviews, Reexaminations and Oppositions associated with medical devices.
