Prof. Prentiss Cox ’90 Featured on Ballard Spahr Podcast Discussing Negative Option Consumer Contracts

Professor Prentiss Cox ’90 was interviewed on Ballard Spahr’s Consumer Finance Monitor podcast that focused on negative option consumer contracts, i.e., agreements that allow a seller to assume a customer’s silence as an acceptance of an offer. These agreements have become widespread in today’s marketplace. Prof. Cox co-authored the article “Silence as Consumer Consent: Global Regulation of Negative Option Contracts” which will soon be published in the American University Law Review.
