Professor Fionnuala Ní Aoláin Interviewed About the Legacy of the September 11 Attacks

Professor Fionnuala Ní Aoláin, Regents Professor and Robina Chair in Law, Public Policy, and Society, was interviewed on Ireland’s RTE Radio 1. Prof. Ní Aoláin is delivering the Law Society of Ireland’s Annual Human Rights Lecture on the 23rd anniversary of the attacks of September 11. In the interview, she spoke of the legacy of the attacks including being one of the few people, as former U.N. Special Rapporteur, to have access to the prisoners still being held at Guantánamo Bay.
