Professor Alan Rozenshtein Quoted By Sydney Morning Herald on Difference Between The Trump Indictment & Watergate
Professor Alan Rozenshtein was quoted by The Sydney Morning Herald in an article discussing the differences between the current indictment faced by former president Trump and when Richard Nixon was pardoned by Gerald Ford from his involvement in the Watergate Scandal. Professor Rozenshtein commented, “Willful delusion is not a defense in criminal law. It’s always tricky to establish a defendant’s frame of mind, but I do think the special counsel is prepared, as we can see from the voluminous evidence of Trump being told over and over again that he had lost.”
