Video Available: 2018 Stein Lecture Featuring Chief Justice John Roberts

The Law School has posted the video of the 2018 Stein Lecture featuring John G. Roberts, Jr., Chief Justice of the United States.

The lecture was held on Oct. 16 at Northrup, with around a capacity crowd of about 3,000 people in attendence. During the 75-minute program, the Chief Justice spoke on a wide range of topics with University of Minnesota Law School Professor Robert A. Stein '61, who served as dean of the Law School for 15 years and as also as chief operating officer of the American Bar Association.

Stein generously endowed this lecture series to enrich the program of the Law School by inviting leaders of the bench and bar and of the governments of the United States and other nations to deliver an annual lecture on a topic of national or international interest. Previous Stein Lectures have featured: Vice President Walter F. Mondale ’56, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the late Justice Antonin Scalia, and Justice Sonia Sotomayor.
