Prof. Borgida Elected a Fellow of AAAS

Professor Gene Borgida has been elected a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). On Feb. 15, Borgida and others recently elected were presented at the AAAS Fellows Forum at the annual meeting in Chicago. Borgida was elected in psychology "for distinguished contributions tackling flawed decision-making in consequential contexts, especially law and politics, and for defining social psychology in law through research, reviews, and courtroom expertise." Election as a Fellow is an honor bestowed upon AAAS members by their peers, and recognizes scientifically or socially distinguished efforts to advance science or its applications. AAAS is the world's largest general scientific society, and publisher of the journal Science.
