A medical-legal symposium addressing border-related dangers and traumas created by US immigration laws and policies, the lasting impact on migrants to the US, and collaborative health, legal and policy strategies to build community support for migrants and assist with the healing process.

CME Credits: In compliance with AMA Level 2 Requirements, attendees will receive a certificate of attendance and may submit their certificate of participation to their appropriate accrediting organizations or state boards for consideration of credit. The participant is responsible for determining whether this activity meets the requirements for acceptable continuing education.

Who should register: Advocates who work with immigrants, community leaders, health care providers, lawyers, mental health professionals, policymakers, psychologists, social workers, and students.
