Join the Human Rights Center on Monday, Dec. 2 from 12:00 to 1:00pm for a special conversation with Professor Martha Davis to kick off our week commemorating International Human Rights Day. 

Professor Davis will be presenting her research and policy work in partnership with the Carter Center and the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights looking at the role of local human rights commissions in light of international human rights law. 

Professor Martha Davis  is a University Distinguished Professor of Law at Northeastern University's School of Law and there co-directs the Center for Global Law and Justice. Martha is a renowned human rights and civil rights scholar and advocate and lead convener for the "Bringing Human Rights Home Lawyers Network."
